OUR OTHER STAFF Our Operations manager, Nicola, is in overall charge of the day to day running of the practice. Our Reception Team, together with our, largely unseen Secretarial and office Team are in charge of the day to day handling of patient enquiries and appointments. Without their expert help the practice would not be able to function. Our receptionists try their very best to keep everyone happy. Please bear with them if they seem busy and cannot always get you the exact appointment you need, it is not their fault and try as we might we can not always keep everyone happy all of the time, we can never predict when medical emergencies are going to occur that may delay the Doctors but we try to keep waits to a minimum. Just some of our records   Our Midwife, Dot, together with our Health Visitors look after our mums to be and mums just been. They provide regular antenatal clinics for those who are expecting a baby and regular clinics for those who have young children. Working with the Doctors they should be able to help anyone who has problems with the younger members of their families. Most of our mums choose to have their babies at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, however home births and births at other hospitals are occasionally arranged. Appointments to see our childcare team can be made at reception. Ask about our health visitor`s drop in clinics when no appointments are usually needed. Our local health visitors also run special groups to help, for example, with children who just will not stop crying. Our practice counsellor, Phillip, is available to help patients at times of stress or when they need help talking through their difficulties.
